Approximately 30% of the water that is used in homes is wasted through leaks, inefficient fixtures, and unnecessary use. This water waste contributes to water scarcity issues and can be minimized by being mindful of our water usage habits.

Usable water is the water we can drink and use for our daily uses, and unusable water is the ocean's water, sewage water and water trapped in ice! :)

Where does waste water go?

That depends where you live: Some places require the waste to go to a public sewer and then on to a waste-treatment center for proper disposal; other places allow the waste to enter the groundwater or lakes or rivers or oceans. And there are other places where it is just buried in the ground, or captured in a large pit. Regarding the sewerage on ships, it is either taken back to a port for disposal, or dumped at sea. And in spacecrafts, the sewerage is brought back to earth, neatly packed in plastic non-leaking bags.

What are harmful things you do to the earth?

Some harmful things humans do to the Earth include deforestation, pollution of air and water, overfishing, and the use of non-biodegradable materials that contribute to waste and landfills. These activities can lead to habitat destruction, loss of biodiversity, climate change, and overall environmental degradation.

How much of earths water do you use?

I don't use any of Earth's water as I am a virtual assistant and do not have physical form or physical needs.

How could you use water but in a good way and not pollution?

You can use water in a responsible way by reducing water waste, adopting water-saving fixtures, and implementing efficient irrigation practices. Additionally, you can support policies that protect water sources and promote water conservation awareness in your community.

Antifreeze was put into my heating system i have a septic system and use water from my well epa says no because if the pipes sweat or leak the ground water is at risk?

Antifreeze is harmful to the environment and should not be used in a heating system connected to a septic system and well. The EPA advises against this to prevent contamination of groundwater in case of leaks or sweating pipes. It would be best to remove the antifreeze from the system and use a safer alternative to protect your water source.
