when a storm forms, it is generate by swift movements of the Earth's wind, with opposite interval of temperature, and static electricity. Static electricity is indefinately the mechanical force which creates electromagnetic pulses. thus, we next observe how a lightning bolt strikes the ground, the electromagnetic pulse in the storm is magnetized by central gravity of the Earth's core. Therefore, one can ineptly ordain that the magnetic movement of the atmosphere is portionally balanced to the magnetizm of the Earth's core. With that in mind, a mere lightning storm occurs in the same lateral region over periods of time due to the higher levels of magnetic force; in example Florida being surrounded by large amounts of water and a strip of land. The magnetic current is tremendously stronger over the small strip of land since water is an avid conductor of electricity!

Lightning is caused by the buildup of electrical charge in the atmosphere, which creates an electrical discharge. This discharge is guided by the principles of electromagnetism, where the interaction between electric fields and magnetic fields influences the path of the lightning bolt. Electromagnetism helps explain the complex processes involved in the formation and behavior of lightning.

when clouds are formed, and are moving around in the sky, they rub against each other. electrons are 'given' to one cloud, from others. the clouds build up either a positive charge or a negative one. these electrons have to be given of in some way and thus the clouds send the electrons, with the use of a lightning bolt, off to another cloud or earth. the lightning we see is thus these electrons being sent from a cloud to something else, or the other way around.
