An electromagnetic buzzer works by using an electromagnet to create vibrations in a membrane or diaphragm which produces sound. When an electric current passes through the coil of the electromagnet, it generates a magnetic field that attracts and repels the metal diaphragm, causing it to vibrate and produce sound waves.

If you put coil all around a nail, attach it to a cell (battery) from a wire, you will see sparks coming and that is called Electromagnet. What is actually happening is that the electricity is flowing from a metal piece, it's moving back and forth. And when it moves back and forth, if the nail attached to the cell to the metal piece touches a buzzer, the buzzer will work because the metal piece is moving back and forth.

A; As power is applied this mechanical device will energize and by doing so interrupt the power source and the cycle continue until the power is removed. the frequency of oscillation is strictly dependent on mechanical inertia

How does a buzzer work in an electric circuit?

A buzzer works in an electric circuit by creating vibrations in a diaphragm when an electric current passes through a coil. The vibrations produce sound waves that we hear as a buzzing noise. By controlling the flow of current through the coil, the buzzer can produce different tones or patterns of sound.

What will happen to a buzzer connected to an open circuit?

If a buzzer is connected to an open circuit, it will not receive any electrical current and will not produce any sound because the circuit is incomplete. In an open circuit, there is a break in the path, so the electric current cannot flow to power the buzzer.
