I'd say it has it's pro's and con's. Yes it may help our economy grow with more being spent. But then how much is it also costing with welfare and NHS fees. Also if the overcrowding is coming from people from overseas it may be causing our own people to be losing/out of jobs. But you also have the lower dirty paid jobs that we need and depend on overseas people doing. What state would we be in without overseas doctors and surgeons That our public depend on so much. So as i said it has it's pro's and con's. This is only a small answer and really you could argue it back and forward. Look at china there government only allows each family to have one child each. but would we in the west see that as against our human rights??.
Overpopulation can strain resources and infrastructure, leading to problems such as poverty and environmental degradation. While a large population can potentially drive economic growth through increased demand for goods and services, it also presents challenges in terms of sustainability and social issues. It is important for countries to carefully manage population growth to ensure sustainable development and a healthy economy.
Severe overpopulation can lead to strain on resources, increased poverty, and reduced quality of life. However, an effect that is not associated with severe overpopulation is reduced biodiversity, as overpopulation does not directly impact the variety of species in an area.
An overpopulation problem may lead to strain on resources such as food, water, and housing, increased pollution and waste generation, and potential conflict over limited resources.
Addressing overpopulation can involve implementing policies and programs to promote family planning, education, and access to contraception. Encouraging sustainable living practices, such as reducing resource consumption and waste generation, can also help mitigate the impacts of overpopulation on the environment and society. Additionally, supporting economic development, particularly in regions experiencing rapid population growth, can address underlying factors contributing to overpopulation.
Overpopulation has put a strain on natural resources, leading to habitat destruction, deforestation, and pollution. It has also contributed to species extinction and loss of biodiversity as more land is developed to accommodate the growing human population. Additionally, overpopulation can increase the demand for food and water, which can further degrade ecosystems and lead to competition with wildlife for resources.
Overpopulation can strain resources like food and water, lead to habitat destruction, increase pollution levels, and exacerbate climate change. It can also contribute to social and political instability, as competition for resources may lead to conflicts. Finding sustainable solutions to address overpopulation is crucial for protecting the planet and ensuring a better future for all.

Overpopulation puts a strain on all public services. Also if there is not enough work for all members of a population then the unemployed have to be looked after (in most areas of the developed world anyway) with financial aid.

Some people think good, some think bad, some think ok. This is a matter of opinion.
