Some Temperate Rainforests are protected. Temperate Rainforests in the United States, South Africa, Japan, and Australia are in national and state parks. Other rainforests are not in national parks (to my knowledge); however, that does not mean that they don't have some form of protection.

Many temperate rainforests are protected through national parks, reserves, and conservation agreements. However, threats such as logging, climate change, and habitat destruction still impact these ecosystems. Conservation efforts are ongoing to safeguard and preserve these unique forest habitats.
