I use 5 heaping tablespoons of Kona coffee and let the machine work its magic (Mr. Coffee-12 cup maker). I just recently became a coffee lover and was clueless--perhaps still am...but it tastes good to me:)
You can also use coffee stirrers to stir other drinks that will need stirring. These would include, chocolate milk, hot chocolate, and tea. Another unique use of coffee stirrers, would be as chop sticks if you had more than one available for use.

When comparing coffee makers, you should concentrate on how big it is and therefore how much coffee ingredients it can use before having to be refilled. Also you should concentrate on how easy it is to handle and how fast the coffee comes out.

Brew a pot of fresh coffee using 2 tablespoons of dark-roasted coffee ground per cup. Transfer the hot coffee to a carafe or pitcher. Let the coffee stand at room temperature for 3 to 5 hours, or refrigerate it until cold, about 1 and a half to 3 hours. Fill a tall glass with ice cubes. Pour the chilled coffee into the glass. Stir the coffee to equalize its temperature. Add milk if you like.
