The Republic of Fiji Islands consists of 332 Islands and Islets of which only 110 is inhabited and is situated on the western side of the South-Pacific Ocean, it is often referred to as the "Gateway to the South Pacific". An Island Country it is a part of the Continent of Oceania, comprising of 14 Countries and 25 Dependencies, with Australiabeing the largest (which is referred to as a continent) and the smallest being that of Nauru in this tropical Pacific's geographical area.

Fiji is an Archipelago with an area of of18.376 sq.km this Island nation doesn't share land boundaries with any country but shares a Maritime border with countries and dependencies like Vanuatu to the west, New Caledoniato the south-west. Tonga to the East, Samoa to the northeast and Tuvalu on the north.
