When you open a soda can, the noise and the fizz it makes is because of the carbon-dioxide gas being released from the soda.
Carbon dioxide gas under high pressure is mixed with the other contents of the soda.
Shaking the soda bottle increases the pressure inside and so when you open a can it comes out with fizz.
