There are many kinds of drinks. Water is the most basic. Hot drinks are coffee and tea. Soft drinks are Coca Cola, Pepsi, Sprite, Dr. Pepper, etc. There are fruit juices from many different kinds of fruit (orange, apple, grape, etc.). Fermented beverages include beer, wine, liquor, and liqueur. Milk is an important drink (produced mainly by dairy cows although there are other sources) as well as milk substitutes such as soy milk, and the more decadent varieties such as chocolate milk or milk shakes. A recent addition to the variety of drinks is the "energy drink" such as Red Bull. There are doubtlessly others not on my list. People drink lots of things.
