The parent company for Budweiser is Anheuser-Busch Companies, Inc. Their location in the United States is in St. Louis, MO although they have locations throughout the world. Due to recent mergers, the company is mainly owned by InBev, a Belgium company. Anheuser-Busch produces other beers like Busch and Michelob. Something similar happened with Miller. Due to recent mergers, the company is owned by a South African company who in turn also has merged with Molson Coors. Our domestic beers are no longer locally owned.

The Original Budweiser brewing company is a Czechoslovakian company Budweiser Budvar who one the trademark title to the name (and make a superb product).

An american company part of the multinational corporation Anheuser-Busch InBev purloined the name/trademark and produced a separate Budweiser which they try and market round the world. In many countries they must sell this under the name "Bud" rather than "Budweiser".
