This dream could mean nothing at all. It might be nothing more than your mind replaying exciting action seen on television or in video gaming. Much depends on the emotions you experience during the dream: excitement? suspense? challenge? If the primary feeling is fear, it is possible that your subconscious is trying to point out some sort of danger.

This is a problem without a collectively agreed upon answer; however I tend to favor an evolutionary explanation:

It is simply the primitive part of our brain and psyche which conjures up these situations in dreams to help prepare us for the reality of actually encountering it in the real world. Think of it as "Mental Rehearsal for the Worst Case Scenario". Also, it could be indicative of your sub-conscious trying to reach out and tell you something, with the "someone" actually representing a "something" and this "something" is weighing heavy on you. In all honesty, I cannot give you a satisfactory answer that can offer concrete evidence to one or the other; quite simply because I am not a psychologist.

However, if you feel these dreams become a real issue for you psychologically, I wouldn't wait, go find help from a mental health professional, OR, try to change up your life-style to live one that is healthier and more becoming of a healthy being. Often, everything we eat, watch, drink, smoke, talk to can have profound effects on our lives and even bodies! So, be cautious what you associate yourself with.
