I hope you mean the chickens? The best place to locate fleas/mites on a chicken is under the feathers of the neck. Bare patches from scratching with be evident. Hold the chicken under one arm and ruffle the feathers upward to expose the skin underneath and you will see either fleas or flea droppings. Treat the bird with dusting powder and dust all the areas the birds use. Poultry dusting powder is available at all farm feed outlets.
