It is a commonly known fact that dinosaurs did suffer diseases, and many were probably similar to those of today. Although we haven't found any virus or disease-causing bacteria fossils, we have found certain dinosaur fossils that show their effects. Case in point, the Smithsonian Institution has an Allosaurusskeleton with some abnormal growth in its arm- possibly some form of cancer. One skull of a Lambeosaurus shows some pretty bad tooth deterioration. (which would probably hurt very badly for a beast with that many teeth!) There have even been two fossil Iguanodon specimens that show some Arthritis in their ankles. The list goes on, showing what these creatures did, in fact, go through.
Smallpox and other diseases

Young dinosaurs would have been called hatchlings. If you are asking what evolved from dinosaurs, the only descendants of dinosaurs are the birds.
Most dinosaurs were herbivores. There was a wide variety or carnivorous dinosaurs, though, and all herbivorous dinosaurs evolved from the earliest carnivorous dinosaurs. Birds are descendants of carnivorous dinosaurs.
Dinosaurs never flew dinosaurs were land reptiles although some dinosaurs could swim
