There are millions of dinosaurs left in the world. They are called birds. There are none of the four legged terrestrial type pictured in the text books, such as T-Rex. They were all killed about 65 million years ago. Only animals weighing less than a few pounds survived the great extinction. Dinosaurs, except for birds, all weighed too much. It is hard to believe how small our ancestors were.

People believe in Paris there is still one water dinosaur still lurking in the oceans. But there is no evidence to proof of that yet.

Other than that, no, there is no dinosaurs living on Earth today. Dinosaurs became extinct about 63 million years ago.

Actually there are! Not the enormous sauropods everyone thinks of, which did die out 63ma as stated above, but as well as the modern lizards and crocodiles we have the warm-blooded descendants of the much-smaller, Cretaceous, flying reptiles... We call them "birds".

Dinosaurs as we are used to watch on movies and videos can't be found on the Earth. They disappeared million of years ago. All that remains are their fossils, kept in museums. Members of the dinosaurs family still exist, but they are too small when compared to those giants of the prehistorical age.

There are none living now but when they roamed the earth, there were probably thousands or millions of dinosaurs.
