They can have one or two flakes as an occasional snack, but that should not be their main food supply. For sure! They love eating cereals, nuts, dried fruit, raw fruit, all that stuff! As long as their not frosted flakes it's totally OK. I actually never suggested corn flakes for a hamster but maybe vegetbles will be a good sugggestion, and certain fruits are good as well.
Guinea Pigs need a healthy balance of grains and vegetables. I'd recommend giving it some carrots, lettuce, etc. Things in your fridge that are vegetbles. as for the grains, just buy it some food from your local pet store. There's also a special herb you can grow yourself if you want to.
