One theory suggests that there are three (3) different body types. Ectomorphs, mesomorphs, and endomorphs.
Someone with an endomorph body type typically gains weight very easily and has trouble shedding it.
Someone with a mesomorph body type typically both gains and loses body weight very easily.
Someone with an ectomorph body type typically has difficulty gaining weight.
this can also mean that you have a high mitabalism. that means that when you eat alot of food you burn it off by being hyper. people with this tend to be very hyperactive.
I am a firm believer and living proof that you can eat anything you want and still lose weight. I use portion control and I don't eat prepared foods such as Kraft dinner and hamburger helper etc. If eating desert is still a concern go for a brisk walk after dinner. If mobility is an issue then try an exercise you can do lying or sitting down...as long as you eat right and get even a small amount of exercise you can still eat what you want and still lose weight.
It depends. You may choose a vegetatarian diet, which works well, in which fruits, veggies, and fish may only be eaten. CArb-free and fat-free diets also work. Try to avoid red meat (cholesterol) carbs and fat period when losing weight. Personally, I enjoyed the veggie diet, because it does not come with sugar highs and eliminates sugar addictions as well as being free of fat and carbs usually, depending on the fruit/veggie. The veggie diet also came with increased energy for me.

Any food will make you gain weight. It really depends on the food you eat, and if you want mussel weight or fat weight. If you want mussel weight work out, do some lifting exersices and eat healthy. If you want fat weight(I don't recomend) just eat. That simple. Just eat all you want, try to keep in mind that foods with higher fat rates will make you fatter, and be careful because you might want that weight to be mussel rather than fat, because it will be harder to get off if its fat.

it will make you so hungry by dinner time you'll want to eat everything in sight! Starving your body only makes it crave sugary and fatty foods. and is not good if you're trying to lose weight because whatever weight you lose from not eating, you will gain back, plus some more, once you give in and eat whatever.
