our society wants us to be skinny, but how can we when all these temptations from food shops and takeaways that make cheap combos that are easy to afford and are on your way, we get bigger we eat more and still doesn't fill us up. And to top that off none of that is healthy for you. Grocery bills are getting darer from fruit and meat and been getting set aside for chocolate biscuits and chips. We need to make healthy food cheaper and easier to afford for our world to become a fitter and happier place.
Almost all people would rather buy healthy food, if it wasn't so expensive. Nobody wants to buy unhealthy food (fatty meat etc.) but the shopkeeper MUST sell it. That's why unhealthy foods are not so expensive - the lower prize should attract the buyer (and the high prize of healthy food should "tell" us not tu buy it / or tell rich people that its for them :-))
mainly due to fast food restaurants being so common with fatty foods. fatty foods are more palatable and provide a feeling of fullness and tastes good. especially with $1 menus they are also cheap without much effort. vegetables have to be processessed and/or cooked and fruits have a short shelf life. they do not have an ernjoyable satiety like fatty goods.
