Red meat is very high in Vitamin A, but it is recommended that you buy it in its least processed form for maximum absorption and nutritional content. Avoiding meats containing sodium nitrate. In particular look for packaging which says 'minimally processed'. You will also find vitamin A (retinyl palmitate) in spinach.
