Yes. He is still alive but, he is incapacitated. He was fighting Shikamaru when shikamaru caught him with shadow possession. when he trapped him, he wrapped him in explosive tags. Then he activated something and made the ground beneath hidan to break away. Shikamaru lit the tags and blew him to bits. As his Body parts were falling into a pit he detached his head and cursed out shikamaru. Then he collapsed the pit. then hidan, (or at least what was left of him) Was trapped in the pit. He is slowly dying from lack of nutrition. I mean, even members of the akatsuki need to eat!
