There's a slow poison out there that's severely damaging our children and threatening to tear apart our culture. The ironic part is, it's a "health food," one of our most popular. Now, I'm a health-food guy, a fanatic who seldom allows anything into his kitchen unless it's organic. I state my bias here just so you'll know I'm not anti-health food. The dangerous food I'm speaking of is soy. Soybean products are feminizing, and they're all over the place. You can hardly escape them anymore
Despite many of the things said about soy products, keep in mind the source of the information and don't take anyone's word as being the definitive authority on soy, or anything else for that matter. Do your research and consider the objectivity of the source of your information. Decide for yourself what the danger of anything is by educating yourself. Don't just rely on something you hear on the radio, see on TV or read in the newspaper. Not everyone has their facts straight, or is even interested in being factual.
Many studies done on soy have been funded by groups whose interest it is to portray soy and soy products as dangerous and unhealthy. Some of these same studies have many problems with them and have been conducted by researchers and groups whose interests are not in necessarily focused on being unbiased and objective in their goals or results. There are also many studies that indicate that soy is safe.

Like many things, such as coffee, sugar, wheat, and corn (just a few things that are sometimes present in overabundance in some diets). Too much of one thing isn't good for anyone. Eating too much soy can be just as unhealthy as eating too much white bread or eating only carrots every single day. The key is not to be afraid of food. Eat a diet of whole foods with an emphasis on fresh produce and whole grains. By eating a diet that includes foods from a variety of sources (as well as soy), you'll be just fine. One excellent study on health and nutrition that includes a focus on soy products is The China Study: http://www.thechinastudy.com/
And remember: soybeans are only a legume that never killed anyone through eating them.
