I would try one of the fad diets that should only last for a week. You will drop weight fast, but you will not keep it off.
The weight did not go on fast and it will not come off fast. But with the right eating plan and the right exercise plan, you can get it off and keep it off your entire life. Do not give up. There are going to setbacks. But there will be many more successes. Focus on those.
