All Chewits sweets are suitable for vegetarians.
No, Fruitellas and Chewits do not taste the same. Fruitellas are fruit-flavored chewy sweets with a softer texture, while Chewits are also chewy sweets but have a more elastic texture and come in a variety of flavors including fruit flavors.
There are many vegetarian sweets! However, check the ingredients as I have seen candies made with gelatin, which is not vegetarian. White sugar is problematic as much is processed using charred animal bones, which makes it not vegetarian.

Yes, but not some sweets. White sugar uses animal bones in processing, gelatin is inside the skin and bones of pigs/cows and carmine is made from crushed bugs.

If you are referring to haribo sweets, they are not. All that i have came across contain gelatin, which comes from animals making it non vegetarian. Most jelly like sweets contain this so make sure to read the ingredients
They have always been Fruittella, Chewits are something else entirely.
Someone who does not eat any product by which an animal was killed for. Not only meat but also gelatin which is also in many types of sweets and of course jelly.
If you are a vegetarian and not a vegan (if you eat dairy and eggs), it shouldn't be hard. Get plenty of Pulses (beans and lentils - a good source of protein), whole grain foods, vegetables and fruits, eggs and dairy, nuts (also have protein), and just a small amount of sweets and fatty foods.
That's not really relevant to vegetarianism since it's more about choices within that. For example a vegetarian who eats a lot of sweets will have just as bad teeth as a non-vegetarian. Sometimes vegetarianism has no impact one way or the other any more than how tall you are or eye colour has an impact.
not ALL things i am a vegetarian myself and some things are okay. Health shops sell 'free of gelatine' gummy bears and i can eat jelly tots. Im not such a big fan of jelly sweets so i dont know which sweets are free of gelatine, but what i do know is that some haribo packets have no gelatine!
