Not much. If you breath in too much, you might faint or die because of the lack of oxygen.Otherwise, there are not many serious risks with CO2.P.SEvery time you breath out, its CO2 coming out.
18% of your body is made up of carbon atoms. Most matter in nature is made of carbon too. Are you asking about problems if there is too much CO2 in your body?
CO2 is the body's natural acid, so if your body has too much CO2 it will begin to compensate. Your body "blows off" CO2 through your respiratory system. Increased respiratory rate and depth will "blow off" excess CO2
you die
if you have to much body fat you will die.
you die
The problem is that we litter and put too much co2 into our air and that all the animals in the arctic might die.
It is a HUGE deal to have too much co2 in the Lunar Module, because co2 is carbon dioxide. All organisms -except plants- breath oxygen. If you have too much carbon dioxide, and not enough air, you will suffocate to death!
Too much !
Yes, it's toxic. You could die if you had too much
You die because your body doesn't have the stuff it needss to be healty...
Carbon dioxide is about as useful as a chocolate teapot! Sorry, but, if allowed to build up in the body, CO2 lowers the acidity of the cytoplasm in the cells, which makes it significantly more difficult for reactions to take place in our cells. And besides, if there's too much in our body, it means that not enough oxygen is reaching the sites of respiration in our cells, so no energy will be released, and we would die, I'm afraid to say.
