The Chinese work for money so they can eat and drink because most Chinese people who live in China are very poor. I should know because I am Chinese.
Yes they do but they also work for the money they need to make up for savings and other leisure type of things, such as socializing etc. They are just like any other English person and I'm guessing that that is the same as practically everyone in the world (I am not saying that everyone are like that but that's what i personally think) I hope not everyone is as biased as the person who edited before me and are not as racist as that person either and also the person who asked the question.

I'm Chinese too but my parents work so we have a happy life and live comfortably. I do live in a house 4,817 square feet big, so I'm not poor. I'm not rich either. My parents work to get some stuff for the backyard, so people do that. It does kind of depend where you live. Some places in China are good and you can live a happy life, others aren't that good with tumbledown houses and...not-so-good things. If you are a Chinese living in the USA, you can probably live a good life if you went to a good college and got a good job or became famous. It depends on what you need. Some need clothes, some need food or shelter. Chinese people work hard for different things.
