Vivid blue. Aegean blue refers to the blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea between Greece and Anatolian peninsulas.
Mediterranean blue is a specific shade of blue that is often associated with the waters of the Mediterranean Sea. To create a similar color, you would typically mix various shades of blue, such as ultramarine blue, cerulean blue, and a touch of white to achieve the desired hue. Experimenting with different ratios of these colors can help you achieve a color that closely resembles Mediterranean blue.

Mediterranean blue is named after the colour of the Mediterranean sea, something that changes hourly with the light, weather conditions and seasons. All that said Mediterranean blue tends to be a medium density blue with a slightly (varying to moderate) aqua cast or under-tone.

Since it is an oceanic blue color, I'd suggest that you use a primer that is tinted to at least 3/4 of the top coat. This should give enough coverage over the old color to allow you to recoat with only one additional coat. If the primer is not available in that dark of a color, then a gray primer will suffice.
