∙ 12y agoMost non-stick cookware requires the use of non-metal (plastic or wooden) utensils (spatulas, spoons etc) to avoid scratching the surface. In addition, sponges or cleaning agents should be non-abrasive. Many sponge/scrubber packages will be labeled for approved use with non-stick surfaces.
Non-stick cookware should never be heated without oils or liquids in the pan (dry) as the surface can give off poisonous fumes when exposed to high temperatures.

The method to cooking without oil is using cooking spray this helps fry the food without having it stick to the pan. Also a good idea would be to buy a new frying pan which would make frying a lot more easier and in this case your food would use very little or no oil at all to cook.
