The most energy comes from fat 9 calories per gram. Carbohydrates 4 calories per gram includes sugars and starches which are complex sugars. Protein is also 4 cal per gram.

If thinking survival food Dark Chocolate is the most high fat and compact food and most pleasant if you don't want to eat pure fat or oil. It also doesn't need cooking, it's compact nd there's no waste. and you can nurse it a long time walking or sitting by taking little bites and letting them melt in your mouth. It would probably take an hour or more of pleaseure to go througha 4 oz chocolate bar that way. Rinse your teeth when you done the fat and sugar stick to the teeth and can cause decay quickly. If you don't like chocolate other high fat candies can do. Maybe Tootsie Rolls which have a lot of fat and can be found in different flavors, also payday peanut bars. Just check out calories per ounce on any food your considering. Higher the better. I also recommend simple generic multi vitamin tabs once a day.

I don't know how long you can store chocolate and still find it pleasantly edible. i know it turns frosty looking from humidity but it might still be edible, pleasant and nutritious. You'll have to do research on the shelf life of chocolate for that answer.

Don't worry about heart attack from too much fat, if your in survival mode you'll be burning it up just to stay warm. i.e. if you don't gain unnecessary weight you'll be fine.
