It's different. Pretty much everything between hot and cold food like every one else. But we do like our own Danish food which is, in Danish, 'stegt flæsk og persillesovs', 'frikadeller', 'bøffer'. And of course potatoes.
Potatos, rice, pasta, cow, pig, lamb, chicken, turkey, a variety of fish, cabbage, corn, peas, pepperfruit, beetroot, onion, garlic, rye bread, white bread, local and foreign fruits. I could go on, but I want time to celebrate Christmas a year from now. Example dishes: Breakfast: Oatmeal with wilk and sugar on top. Lunch: A few slices of rye bread with butter and sliced meat or leverpostej (pate of pork liver). Dinner: Green beans, potatos with brown sauce, and frikadeller (meat balls). Perhaps a banana or apple in between and chocolate or ice cream in the late evening. Danish food is often fat and doesn't contain a lot of chilli.
It varies, but common choices are Bread (of various kinds) with one or more of :- Sild (pickled raw herring of various flavours) Cheese, most often Jarlsberg, Gjetost or Kavli-ost Ham or other deli. meat.
It is called Hakar, a fermented and very aromatic shark meat, salted and buryed until rotten, it is very popular dish, and as they are a Danish colony dishes like Rullapulsa a type of rolled lamb that is cured, they have a unique hot dog made from Lamb.
Patat frites are pretty popular. Other popular foods are Frikadeller (meat balls), Leverpostej (liver paste), Mørbradbøf (pork tenderloin), Flæskesteg (roast pork), Smørrebrød (open faced sandwhiches), pølsevogn (hot dogs), and Æbleskiver (pancakes with apples,)
