There are no significant differences between 1970s foods and now, except for certain exceptions, like:

1. Most towns saw the first McDonald's in the early 1970s. We didn't have fast food restuarants until mid to late 1970s. "Fast food" was a hot dog shop or Isaly's, for examples.
2. We didn't consume as much Cola products as today. Fountain Cokes were popular, along with Root Beer, Fountain Cherry Cola, and iced tea or lemonade. Fountain Cokes/Cherry Coke were made with syrup.
3. Fried Chicken was made at Home.
4. Dads made donuts and donut holes at Home.
5. Moms baked breads and cakes regularly, at Home.
6. We sat down at a dinner table and ate as a family.
