Gaudi and Hundertwasser have very different styles. Gaudi's buildings are based on animal backbones and they are usually not very colourful. When they are colourful, the patches of colour are usually quite small. Hundertwasser's buildings are usually decorated with quite large blocks of colour or black and white. All of Gaudi's buildings have a backbone on the outside, whether it is one big one or many small ones. Some of his buildings look slightly old-fashioned like the one shown in the picture but some look very modern and interesting. Hundertwasser's buildings are not based on bones like Gaudi's. Most of his buildings look modern. He uses a combination of unusual shapes and blocks of colour to make his buildings stand out from other buildings. This picture shows the inside of one of his buildings. There are many different colours inside, which don't always go together but look good in the way they are arranged.
