If this is a roast, than you don't want to... the lower the heat after browning the roast will make you a juicy tender roast. Spend the time necessary to finish with a beautiful roast. I particularly like a technique that starts with an extremely high temperature oven 500-525 for some time (45 min. depending on the weight) then turn off the oven and do not open it! About 2 1/2 hrs later you will have a beautiful roast, evenly cooked. (I make a paste of butter, garlic, rosemary and completely coat the roast, all sides, prior to placing it in the oven.)
Induction hobs shorten cooking time by allowing for more precise control of temperature. Induction hobs also reduce the amount of heat wasted while cooking, allowing more heat to be applied to the cooking vessel.
It will shorten cooking time, which in turn, can result in a modest saving of cooking gas; yes.
Yes, you can thaw frozen egg rolls before cooking them; however, you should shorten your cooking time to adjust for not having to give them time to thaw.
The length of time to cook a corned beef would vary depending on the cooking method and the amount of doneness or tenderness you prefer. It can be roasted at 160 degrees celcius from 20 minutes for rare, to 30 minutes for well done.
The cooking time for a 3 pound joint of roast beef can vary depending on the desired doneness of the meat. For rare meat, cooking time should take about 33 minutes. For well done, cooking time should be about 48 minutes.
Oven cooking is a non-pressurized method of cooking that cooks slower through convection and radiant heat methods. Pressure cooking is a pressurized, fast cooking method that speeds up the cooking process. If you have the time, oven cooking is preferred, but if you wish to save energy and time, pressure cooking is the way to go.
Look at a recipe book. It depends on how you are cooking it - stir fry, grilled, stew - and how well cooked you like your beef.
