Usually "con carne" is spanish for "with meat" but as I was growing up I was taught that it meant chilli over rice. I am 55 years old.

i always use easy cook rice but i put in a cup of lentils with salt pepper and a teaspoon of cumin powder boil the lentils for about 10 mins before putting in the rice and cumin with the chili it tastses really good
