I would suggest no. I fix appliances. If the crock pot is at the same temperature the base reaches then i would see no problem. But 400F into a crock pot not UL/CSA approved for that would be an issue.

That's a 1966 model, manufactured by Chrysler for Montgomery Ward's. Chrysler bought out West Bend motors, so this motor is the same as a 1965 West Bend model 350. Cheers, Scott Crumpler

Because bonds can bend, stretch, and rotate without breaking. That would make the model more accurate than the space-filling model.
