Stubblefield was gained a patent for a wireless phone in 1908. It was much more like a field radio than anything else. In 1947, A patent for wireless cell stations was made by AT&T. Sweigert the first efficient cellular telephony device in 1969. Martin Cooper made up the design for the first cellular phone that became successful.
