Higher-end single-core processors are quite common, though they are perfectly capable of browsing the web, streaming video, and playing simple Video Games. Screen size and hard drive capacity are going to have the biggest impact on the price of a cheaper setup, though models rarely come with less than 250 gigabytes of hard drive space.
