All the models that are double cab have a roll down back window.
You can but if the power window motor is bad it still won't roll up.
All Toyota 4Runners back windows roll down. The first and second generation 4Runners are the only ones to have the drop down tailgate however. The last year run on the drop down tailgates was 1995. From 1996 to the present, they have liftgates.
Window regulator is probably shot are they power or manual windows
most likely the rear window wiper has not retracted or returned to the proper UP or NOT IN USE type position so manually help it back UP until you can research repair or replacement of window assembly motor or perhaps replacing the magnet part that keeps it in that UP position. that's what i am learning still and may your window roll up when the rain comes down!
The window is most likely off the track. With the back window up, take off the cover by lifting it up. Then unscrew 6 or 8 screws from the metal cover. Now remove the plastic overlay. This will allow access to the back window motor and window. There are two sliders witch the back window sits upon. If the window is off of it's track it will not go up or down or will have a hard time doing so. Also make sure that all the electrical connections are on at the back motor. If this doesn't work try a possible blown fuse? Hope this helps.
The power windows on a 1999 Toyota Camry's driver's side window may not roll up if the fuse or motor are bad. You should replace the fuse or take it to a local dealership for diagnosis.
A power window that does not "roll down" in a 1999 Toyota RAV4 is most likely the result of a faulty regulator. The regulator can be replaced by removing the door panel.
1999 Pontiac motana mini van driver window will roll down but will not roll up ??????
You can manually roll up a power window by pulling on it. You can also remove the door panel and pull the window up.
If the motor is bad in your car, you 1st try to roll it up then it will roll up a tiny bit but you will have to try the window and then what bait and then try the window again. If you are planing on getting new motor, get one used not new. You will pay about $400 to $500 for new and only 2 or 3 hundred for a used. I have a Toyota Highlander that is a 2001 and the right backseat window went out and the automotive store said we could ether get it used or new and we got used and it has been the best window in the car now.
Probably need to replace the window regulator.
