NO! Not to the stock tranny, The 2.8 is a 60 degree engine, the 4.3 is a 90 degree engine, trans bolt pattern different, use a 700R4, 200R4, or turbo 350.
YES! with motor mount adapters (from JTR.com) the stock 2.8 mounts are the favorite with Engine swappers. Check Ebay under "S10 V8", also check out www.S10forum.com For alot of help and answers. I'm AWOLMIND on there. Its free to sign up.
