Yes, with a bit of fiddling around it runs fine. You need to install it somewhere other than the default location (so not C:/Program Files/... or whatever - install it away from the main system path), and once it's installed, you need to rename the eu2/avi/ directory to something completely different. (Bink Video Player isn't compatible with Windows 7, but that only affects the intro video, not the game - if you rename that directory to something else, the game just ignores the intro video and loads as normal.) After that, happy days.
