There are a number of reasons why our iPod Touch won't play videos. The most common reason is because the video is not the correct file format that is compatible with the iPod Touch. Only .m4v files are compatible with the iPod Touch.

Go to the multitask bar hold down YouTube and a red circle with a white line should appear on the top left of the icon. Press that and it basically restarts the app allowing you to watch videos again. Hope this helps. :D

The video cannot played on iPhone because it is in the wrong format. The videos to be played on iPhone have to be in the right format.

In particular, the iPhone will not play videos in Adobe Flash format.
