A. Your computer is doing more computing in the background than it did before.

B. It using more memory than before.

Now the question becomes: Is it doing what YOU want it to, or is it doing things you rather it did not?

The following steps help minimize A & B above:

1. Back Up your data

2. Priority Updates. Make sure Windows is up-to-date.

3. Minimize behavior of security suites

4. Do full scan for malware

5. Clean registry

6. remove unused programs

7. Run Disk Cleanup

8. Run Disk Defragmenter

9. Run Check Disk

10. clean out dust

11. turn off 'eye candy'

12. Check your memory
