itunes music gigabytes
Your music library is normally stored in a folder called iTunes Music which is placed in your Music folder. Deleting the iTunes software from your Applications folder will not affect your music library.
it means that it will save that music to a folder on your itunes library.
On a Mac click on the music file in a folder and drag it into the iTunes Window and the music will be added to your iTunes library. If iTunes is not running you can drag the music file into the iTunes icon in the dock and it will be added to the library.
The iTunes library is where iTunes stores your music. You can put music in the library from music on your computer or from your CDs. You only need to set up an iTunes account if you wish to purchase items from the iTunes store.
A new version of iTunes only updates the iTunes software and does not touch your music/movies library.
