Microsoft discourages computer manufacturers from selling equipment with older operating systems installed once a new OS becomes available. It is usually more financially attractive for the manufacturers to offer the new operating system as Microsoft may give them discounts for purchasing it, and perhaps take the discounts away from the older operating systems.
I have a Dell inspiron 1420 with Vista operating system, and it installed and plays fine.
yes, some laptops and desktops made by dell still use vista as its OS, but most now use windows 7

Some of the specifications of the Dell Precision 490 include a memory of 1.0 GB, an 80 GB hard drive, and a Microsoft Windows Vista operating system. It also has a DVD ROM optical drive.
Vista laptops are produced by Dell. They are actually called Dell Vista Laptops. All Dell computers come standard with Windows. Dell is one of the leading companies that produce computers today.
No. Dell Windows Vista looks for a specific BIOS chip exclusive to Dell PCs. If it does not find it, it will refuse to install
In general, no. However some businesses might configure laptops (of various brands, not just Dell) for this purpose.
yes but you might not have all the dell drivers.
It's not the computer that has the software applications... It's the operating system, e.g. Windows XP, Vista.
Dell Dimension 'specs' cannot be bought. Specs or specifications are simply the dimensions, memory and operating system of a computer. Dell Dimension computers can be bought directly from the Dell site.
its not?
Dell currently offers notebooks with a vast variety of color and print options. Most come preloaded with Windows Vista and can be configured with plenty of memory (You'll want at least 2GB for Vista Home Premium or higher.). I would recommend, however, that you wait until October. Windows 7 will be released October 22 and comes with a tweaked (and very nice) interface, and some new features. Windows 7 will replace Vista, and is a wonderful operating system.
