well most of the time adobe air is installed when you install other adobe products. from what ive heard, it's not really bad to uninstall it. some users have experienced not so good performance after uninstalling adobe air but uninstalled acrobat and had no problems. I'm guessing air is needed for adobe to run at it's best. so no, don't really need it but if you like things running at 100% i would keep it. i keep mines and it's only using like 35mb anyway so it's no big deal.

Oh, dude, like, Scratch needs Adobe Air because it's like the software that helps run Scratch smoothly, you know? It's like the behind-the-scenes guy making sure everything works properly. So, yeah, Scratch and Adobe Air are like a dynamic duo, keeping things running smoothly in the digital world.

Oh honey, Scratch needs Adobe Air like I need a martini at 5 o'clock. It's just the platform Scratch runs on, so without it, Scratch would be about as useful as a screen door on a submarine. So, bottom line, Adobe Air is the backbone that keeps Scratch strutting its stuff.
