Computers have to have output devices in order to relay information back to other devices for its use. If computer information remaines exclusively in the computer, then it is useless, because nothing is done with it. Even in the case of stored data, the information is often relayed to another computer with output devices, or directly to an output device, so that it can affect the outer world.

Output devices include: screens, electric motors, cars, lights, speakers, etc.

Without output devices, it would be, in addition, impossible to determine the inner workings of computers without output devices, as any modifications to allow the viewing of the information/functionality would be considered an output device.

How would you know if you are on facebook or even if your computer is on?

or how would you see what your typing??

You need Output devices to see what information you are entering with you input devices.

Your input devices would be your keyboard and your mouse and your output would be your monitor :)

Computer needs data to operate, its useless without informations. Input devices are used to provide these data. You use keyboard to write a document in a text editor. You use a mouse to draw objects in a graphic program. You use a microphone to record your voice.
