80 pins I believe this is wrong! IDE cables have 40 pins and 80 wires and IDE cables for notebooks have 44 pins
One can purchase an IDE cable at many different stores. There are stores such as Radio Shack and Best Buy that have many different cables, including IDE cables.

Connect new hdd and check for proper jumper connection. Configure both HDD to master and slave if they are connected using same IDE cable or if they both have different set of IDE cables, then just connect the HDD and provide power cable from SMPS.. Similar for SATA HDD

You need two cables called IDE cables. Typically these cables have the ability to connect two hard drives or two CD DVD roms. So just find two IDE cables and you can conect what you need to connect.

IDE stands for Integrated Drive Electronics - It's a type of interface to connect IDE hard drives to the motherboard. IDE connections use the wide gray 40/80pin cables. IDE connections are being replaced by the faster SATA (Serial Advanced Technology Attachment) which has a smaller 7pin cable and can hot swapped as well.
