Adobe Premier Pro is used by customers that require a professional video editing software. This is a multi platform software that comes with after effect, photoshop and many other features.

Windows Movie Maker effects cannot be transferred or imported into Adobe Premier. ( I don't know why you would want to either) Premier offers many more effects than Windows Movie Maker does. Are you sure you are looking at all the effects Adobe Premier is offering?

Many high end video/editing editing software will use almost as much RAM as the computer has like Photoshop pro Adobe Effects Premier etc..... Also any 3d rendering software will also use a ton of RAM.
