Yes
The T8100 is based on Intel's newer processor cores, dubbed "Penryn". They feature a smaller 45nm manufacturing process, as opposed to the "Merom" core on the T5xxx/T7xxx series. They also include a new instruction set, SSE-4, but I doubt any software is making much use of that yet. Most notably they do consume less power than their predecessors. So the "reason" why the T7500 is 2.2ghz and T8100 is only 2.1ghz, is that they are from two different processor families, and apparently Intel deems that the advances they put into the new Penryn core, allows them to have the cheapest member of the line running at a lower clockspeed than the T7500. Be it performance or power-saving that is the reason behind it, only Intel (or benchmarks) can tell.
P8400 is a CPU in the P8000 series, T9000 is a series as well, contains the T9300 for example. Compare here http://ark.Intel.com/ProductCollection.aspx?series=35571 and here http://ark.Intel.com/ProductCollection.aspx?series=33900 It looks like the P8400 is a newer package, has half the cache (a bad thing), and approx 30% less power consumption (good) than T9300, and is cheaper by about 30% too (also good). Finally the T8000 series has a higher front side bus.
Dell D610 techinical specifications include the following: Intel Core2 Dual Processor P8400, 14.1 inch monitor, 4.37 pounds in weight, 4.0 GB of memory and a 160 GB hard drive.
It is how good your processor is compared to the Intel Pentium.
Every computer needs a processor. The machine was designed to be a good processor of waste paper.
Times change and this years best processor can get old in few years time. At this moment, the best processor is the Intel i7.
processor is the brain of computer, before you purchase, considered the price, the speed, cores, cache and features, if you want low price processor but good for gaming and speed, good choice are amd.
yeah
Both the JVC and the Sure processor come with very god reviews
Currently the i7 is the best processor you can get, if you have the money to spend on one I suggest that you do.
