Hi!

Go to Start-> All programs -> Accessories-> System tools-> System restore

Select "Restore my computer to an earlier time.

Click Next

Select a restore point from the calendar and click Next.

On the Confirm Restore Point Selection page, click Next. System Restore restores the previous Windows XP configuration, and then restarts the computer.

Log on to the computer as an Administrator. Then click OK on the System Restore Restoration Complete page.

Please note- If you are unable to see any available restore point, system restore is disabled in your computer, and in order to enable it, please follow these steps:

Steps to turn on System Restore

Click Start, right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.

In the System Properties dialog box, click the System Restore tab.

Click to clear the Turn off System Restore check box. Or, click the Turn off System Restore on all drives check box.

Click OK.

After a few moments, the System Properties dialog box closes.

Have a nice day!

there are two restore buttons.

1. the middle button of your options in the top right corner of your window. it restores your window to its original size before full screen.

2. another restore button is the default button (differs on different computers) where when held while your computer is starting up will restore your computer to factory new by deleting any files that have been made since the first use of the operating system.

It will remove everything off of your computer, leaving nothing behind except probably default browsers and programs, plus the operating system will still be on it. But it's probably a bad idea to do, if you have anything on your computer that you wish to keep.
