Sorry, there is no default resolution. There have been various 18´´ monitors.
Generally an LCD 17 inch monitor will have a default resolution of 1280 x 1024
It depends on what monitor you are using. if the image is stretched, you need to change your screen resolution until your screen looks clear and doesn't look stretched.
i think
Standard VGA Resolution all depends on your screen size my default for my desktop is 1280 by 720 and my parents desktop is 1152 by 864. so check the resolution on the monitor to sell what the default and max Resolution is.
It does not have a default screen resolution. If it detects your graphics card and monitor correctly, it will use its resolution automatically. If not, it will probe different VESA resolutions to find one that works, such as 1024 x 768, 800 x 600, or even 640 x 480.
A standard 19" monitor is 1280x1024, a widescreen 19" monitor is 1440x900.This will depend on monitor brand and video card capabilities.
On a Windows computer screen resolution can be changed by right clicking on the desktop and selecting the screen resolution option. The various options will be available on a drop down menu with the optimum resolution for the monitor marked as recommended.
The screen resolution is determined by the monitor not the desktop.
The resolution of a monitor is governed by the number of pixels on the screen.
240x360
Yes and no. A monitor can support several different screen resolutions. A CRT monitor can technically support any screen resolution sent to it, although the screen may be unreadable at extremely high resolutions. An LCD monitor supports a strict number of resolutions, but almost always more than one. The resolution that your screen actually uses (or tries to use) is specified by the video card, not the monitor. So purchasing a high-definition monitor won't do you any good if your video card is only capable of displaying 1024x768.
