The coaxial cable I use has at least four layers, sometimes more. At a minimum it has to have a core, a layer of insulation, the second conductor and a coating of another insulator. Better cables have another layer of insulation around the second conductor, a layer of shielding and then the final outside coating.
Coaxial cable
A single copper wire surrounded by at least three layers typically refers to a coaxial cable. The innermost layer is the copper conductor, followed by insulating layers, and an outer protective layer. Coaxial cables are commonly used in telecommunications and audio/video applications for their ability to transmit signals efficiently and with minimal interference.

how many wires does a coaxial cable have
It is the loss of data from the coaxial cable during transmission .
